The project is designed with an installed capacity of 60 million kilowatts—equivalent to 2.7 times that of the Three Gorges Dam. Once completed, it is expected to generate nearly 300 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, meeting the power needs of 300 million people and injecting strong momentum into the achievement of China’s “dual carbon” goals.
